Reading the website

Street Crime UK's public pages can be read without a visitor account. The website serves its pages, images, fonts and background montage from its own hosting. No visitor analytics script is active in this version. Normal network requests are still needed to deliver those files to your browser.

The site is preparing for Google AdSense review, but advertising scripts are not active and the website is not serving AdSense placements. Its ownership verification tag and public publisher record support that review; they do not activate ads. External services opened or loaded by a visitor have their own settings and policies.

Your saved reports and films

Save buttons use this browser's local storage to remember selected reports and films. These are two separate lists on this device, not an account-based collection. They do not synchronise with a social profile or another browser. The site does not send the lists to a visitor database.

Use the clearing control on this page to remove both Street Crime UK lists from this browser. You can also remove site data through your browser's settings. If browser storage is unavailable, a selection may last only for the current visit; the interface explains that outcome when you save an item.

Background footage and motion

The homepage's muted background sequence is a self-hosted archive montage, separate from the YouTube players. Loading it does not open a third-party video player. Use its pause control to stop the background motion while reading or browsing.

A still image provides the alternative when reduced-motion or data-saving preferences are reported by your browser. Autoplay can also depend on browser settings. The background is decorative; the reports, links and documentary descriptions remain available when the sequence does not play.

YouTube and Facebook

Documentary players load after you choose to play a film. The site uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced player address, but pressing play still connects your browser to YouTube. YouTube controls playback, availability and any sign-in requirement. A direct YouTube link is supplied where you prefer to watch there.

The Facebook page widget also waits for you to choose to load it. Facebook controls the posts shown and may require you to open its full page for more content. Closing a loaded player or feed removes that embed from the page; it does not reverse information already exchanged with the external service.

Contact and sharing

The contact composer prepares text in your browser. It copies the enquiry to your clipboard when allowed, or displays it for manual copying. It does not send the message, create a website inbox entry or submit your name and enquiry to Street Crime UK. You decide whether to paste and send it through Facebook or Instagram.

Sharing controls can open your device's sharing options, copy a page link or take you to an external service. You choose the recipient and whether to send. Following a social, support or source link leaves this website and opens the destination's own service.
